Meet the team

Founder Will Wainewright reported on the sector for almost 15 years in London and New York, working for Bloomberg News and editing EuroHedge (at With Intelligence). He has a track record of compiling agenda-setting industry research, interviewing top decision-makers and speaking at industry conferences.

Michael Hunt joined from S&P With Intelligence in early 2026 as the head of research and data. He oversees AFI Intelligence research trackers and intel tools, and works on AFI partnership reports and flagship in-person events.
