Point72’s rapid Singapore buildout
Steve Cohen’s Point72 Asset Management has quickly grown its Singapore office headcount to more than 100, Bloomberg reported. Rob Edmiston, head of the Singapore office, moved to the city from Hong Kong last year. The office dates back to 2009. Wei Lim, formerly an analyst with Marshall Wace, is one of the key recent hires in region as a long-short equity PM.
Citadel hires legal chief from Goldman
Citadel Securities has named Goldman Sachs partner David Rusoff as chief legal officer. After more than two decades at the investment bank, he will join CS early next year and be responsible for legal and compliance functions and report to CEO Peng Zhao.
Brevan Howard makes tech hire from Schonfeld
Brevan Howard has hired technologist Steven Kordik as head of systematic global operations in the US. He joins the $33bn firm from New York-based multi-strategy operator Schonfeld. He had been North American head of platform support.
