Bridgewater CEO change confirmed
Given the huge haul of people moves in AFI’s tracker — 218 in the past seven days — this week’s update will focus on the top headlines from those updates.
Where to start but Bridgewater, the world’s largest hedge fund manager, which has confirmed in filings that Mark Bertolini, co-CEO since the start of last year, has left the role. He is now an outside director on Bridgewater’s Operating Board of Directors, according to its website.
The tracker also confirmed that Nir Bar Dea has become sole CEO. According to his LinkedIn page the change was as of this month.

Taconic COO leaves role
The tracker also founder that Barry Bausano has left his role as COO at Taconic Capital. The former Deutsche Bank veteran, who spent 16 years at the German lender, joined Taconic in January 2021 after two and a half years at Holyoke Capital. He left Taconic last month according to his LinkedIn page.
ExodusPoint makes London hire
Evangelos Makris has joined ExodusPoint as an analyst in London from JP Morgan. He had spent three years at the US bank after four years at MUFG.
