Peter Herrlin has been appointed as global head of the Hedge Fund Services unit at BNP Paribas Securities Services.
Joining from Northern Trust Corporation, where he led capital markets client solutions in EMEA, Herrlin will be based in London.
He has the overall responsibility and oversight of the hedge fund services client line and client delivery global teams, leading the Hedge Fund Services go-to-market strategy, managing its risk profile and designing its business operating and client experience models.
“With his in-depth industry knowledge and understanding of alternative clients’ needs, Peter will play an instrumental role in driving the next phase of our business growth in the hedge fund segment,” said Patrick Hayes, global head of alternatives investors at the French firm.
