AQR launches portable alpha quartet

AQR Capital Management is launching a quartet of funds which will bring its portable alpha investing to the masses, AFI reports.

The Connecticut-based quant specialist, led by founder Cliff Asness, filed a prospectus with the SEC on Thursday for four mutual funds under a new brand, Fusion.

The funds will be accessible to investors from private wealth channels, opening up the market. They each focus on a different strategy approach and take a 100% exposure to it, combined with a 100% equity market exposure (through futures or swaps).
