Crestline Summit, the $3bn multi-strategy unit within Fort Worth, Texas-based Crestline Investors, is rebranding as SummitTX to differentiate from the parent company.
“The rebranding represents a broader effort to elevate the hedge fund business and brand while creating a clear distinction between Crestline’s public markets and private markets businesses,” the firm said in a statement.
SummitTX will remain a subsidiary of Crestline Investors, a $20bn firm specialising in private credit strategies, but have increased regulatory and operational independence.
The multi-strat had one of the best performance years since inception in 2024 and has more than doubling assets over the past two years, which has seen the launch of a larger balance sheet version of its original fund.
“The rebrand solidifies our path forward in positioning SummitTX as a leading name within the hedge fund industry,” said Caroline Cooley, managing partner and CIO at SummitTX.
SummitTX was founded in 2015. It provides an open architecture multi-manager, multi-strategy hedge fund model across fundamental, tactical, quantitative and capital markets investment strategies.
