Katamaran Fund, a long/short equity strategy led by former Millennium and Man Group manager Priya Kodeeswaran, joined the Brummer & Partners platform this month.
The fund is managed out of London by Kodeeswaran, but its main backer is Sweden-based Brummer, which announced it was increasing its long/short risk contribution in consumer durables and technology and reducing it to global industrial sectors as a result of the change.
Bloomberg previously reported the fund had secured backing worth about $350m from Brummer.
After six years at RWC Partners, Kodeeswaran joined Man GLG in 2016 and managed more than $1bn.
He joined Millennium in 2020 as senior portfolio manager.
