Hedge fund inflows hit 18-year high: HFR

Hedge fund inflows reached the highest annual level since 2007 last year, as allocators return en masse to the sector.

HFR data shows a net inflow of $115.8bn in 2025, the highest level since 2007 (194.5bn).

“Investors continue to increase allocations to hedge funds, pushing capital beyond this historic milestone and fueling a growth trend that is expected to accelerate into 2026,” said HFR chair Ken Heinz.
