Man Group combines discretionary trading units, sheds GLG brand

Man Group has created a new single discretionary trading unit to take the place of multiple brands, including GLG and Varagon.

In the first major reorganisation under Robyn Grew since she replaced Luke Ellis last year, some of its flagship takeover brand names are being retired in favour of the unified Discretionary division, which will be led by Man veteran Eric Burl.
