MFA opens London office as finance reforms loom



The Managed Funds Association (MFA) has opened a new office in London, with plans to increase lobbying of UK policy-makers over short-selling and other possible financial reforms.

The Mayfair office will be the Washington DC-based industry trade group’s second permanent overseas hub, after Brussels. Its CEO, Bryan Corbett, has launched a charm offensive in recent days, telling City AM newspaper the regulatory environment in London felt warmer to hedge funds than the US at the moment.
