Marex expands prime services into Brazil

Marex has appointed Davi Quixadá in São Paulo, marking the first on-the-ground presence for its Prime Services business in Latin America. The hire reflects Marex’s broader regional expansion and growing demand from Brazilian institutional investors seeking access to global markets through prime brokerage and trading services.

Quixadá brings more than 20 years of experience in electronic trading and institutional markets. He joins from Lev DTVM, where he served as chief operating officer and led equities and electronic trading. His previous roles include positions at Santander Brazil and XP Investimentos, focusing on market structure and algorithmic trading solutions.

Based in São Paulo, Quixadá will work with hedge funds, asset managers and institutional clients to connect local investors with Marex’s global platform. The move underscores Latin America’s rising importance in global alternatives markets, with Marex aiming to deliver tailored trading, financing and capital introduction services while strengthening its regional presence.
