Leaders from Marshall Wace, FIFTHDELTA, Aspect Capital and Fasanara Capital are among the speakers confirmed for AFI’s second Global Hedge Fund Innovation Summit taking place in Mayfair on Thursday 8 October.
The invite-only gathering will convene more than 100 senior executives from $1bn-plus hedge fund managers, including COOs, CTOs and leaders across operations, technology, finance and risk for expertly-curated discussion, targeted networking and best practice benchmarking.
The latest round of agenda updates have just gone live and further speakers will be announced in the build-up to the event, which will address the operational, technological and leadership challenges shaping the global hedge fund industry.
The day will cover: AI and tech strategy; recruitment and culture; executive leadership; geopolitics and risk; plus cybersecurity challenges, developments in SMAs, Treasury, regulation and other key industry topics for the non-investment functions of hedge fund businesses.
Sessions include:
– Innovating through disruption: Leadership in an era of change, featuring FIFTHDELTA, GreshamQuant and Trium Capital.
– Getting AI right: Exploring use cases, opportunities and best practices, featuring Marshall Wace, Fasanara Capital and Alba Investment Partners.
– Further panels will address ‘Multi-strategy platform priorities’ and ‘Operational resilience’ as well as an Allocator fireside and several small roundtable discussions across a range of topics.
All sessions will be interspersed with networking breaks and the event will culminate in a sparkling wine reception in the Council Suite followed by post-event networking at a nearby venue.
