The ranking features a rundown of 25 firms considered the most influential hedge fund allocators of 2024, for the scale of their mandates, their innovation and future intent. The intel-filled list contains 20 end-allocators, from pensions to sovereign wealth funds, two multi-PM platforms, a pair of consultants and a research firm. Subscribers can access here.

✏️Research section redesign
The research section has been redesigned to make it easier for members to locate and access reports. All of the Power25 ranking reports, launch market updates and Hedge Fund Power Lists now sit within their own section on this page.
Rolling trackers of hedge funds, from curated sources and Form Ds, now sit in the data section, as does the rolling Decision-makers tracker, which has monitored 27 hedge fund moves this week.
Members can also access our tracker of SEC registrations and de-registrations, currently in beta mode.
📡 Outside sources
Which story from the industry press this week had the biggest impact this week?
AFI recommends Bloomberg‘s long-read on succession planning at Elliott and the future of the European office, currently managed by Gordon Singer, son of the founder Paul. It highlights two sizeable issues the biggest US firms need to navigate: how to handle questions of succession, when there is no sign the founder is going anywhere; and how to keep non-US offices motivated when the power often lies at HQ.
Podcast takes Broad Reach
Bradley Wickens, founder of Broad Reach Investment Management, a $2bn London firm, discusses the opportunity in deploying a systematic approach to emerging markets on the latest episode of the AFI podcast.
He shares his thoughts on the “momentous” election of Donald Trump and what it means for the global economy and emerging markets; why he and other international investors “love” Argentina’s Javier Milei and the future of Europe. Topics are in the show notes at Apple and Spotify.
