The impact of sovereign wealth funds on the tech investment landscape has become more “visible” as other capital allocators pull back, according to Ibrahim Ajami of Mubadala Capital Ventures.

Speaking at the SALT conference in New York, Ajami, who is head of ventures for the $284bn Abu Dhabi SWF’s unit, said the “frozen” growth investment sector has generated opportunities.
