Verition Fund Management, one of the biggest US multi-manager firms, is taking up new premises in London.
Verition will occupy the third floor of a renovated 144,000 square foot building, named Lucent, on the side of Piccadilly Circus. The building has 20 outdoor terraces and over 600 species of plants, according to a statement from the developer announcing the move.
Verition was founded in 2008 and managed more than than $7bn midway through last year, putting it on course to join the eight-strong grouping of US platforms running more than $10bn. Last year it opened a Dubai office.
“Our people are key to our success. Occupying a modern workspace which contributes positively to productivity and quality of life was a key driver for us when selecting a new office,” said Josh Goldstein, president at Verition.
“Moving into the heart of the West End gives us access to a world leading hospitality and leisure scene as well as quick transport links, which we know are important for our employees.”
