Whale Rock Capital Management has emerged as one of the hedge fund industry’s standout performers in H1 2026, with its flagship fund returning 72.5% during the first half of the year as artificial intelligence continues to reshape technology investing.
According to Bloomberg, the Boston-based manager gained 9.2% in June, while its long-only strategy advanced 9.4%, lifting year-to-date returns to 82%. Whale Rock ranks 148 on the 2026 AFI 500 list of leading hedge fund managers by regulatory AuM.
